We are pleased to announce that Mukul Haloi’s Assamese documentary Loralir Sadhukatha or Tales from our Childhood supported by the Early Career Fellowship of School of Media and Cultural Studies wins the prestigious Bala Kailasam Memorial Award for the Best Documentary Film.
The film attempts to recollect and present the lives of people in 1990s Assam, amidst the conflict and violence with the presence of the army and the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA).
