Ek Duniya Sheher Si

Ek Duniya Sheher Si is a poetic documentary that takes viewers through New Delhi as a city of contrasts through poetry. The poems represent a diverse set of worldviews, and are visualized in different parts of the city across time. These are interspersed with short interviews with a range of individuals—young and old, natives and migrants—as they discuss what the city represents to them. Spanning themes like love, longing, loneliness, family and memory, the interviews and visuals capture a polyglossia of experiences in the city. The four anthologies featured here capture the changing face of New Delhi, as a place and a protagonist, and the realm of what it has signified and what it can.
