Wheels of Her Own

The documentary explores the lives of two women who have their own wheels, coming from different stratas of society. The film questions the kind of mobility these women have and the notions of empowerment that get attached to the concept of owning one’s own rides in the city. The work highlights these women’s negotiation with the daily life, the family and work along with the understated motif of difference between work and leisure.
